Urban Agriculture

Education and training about urban agriculture for green and food introduced to meet the needs of urban communities. With the urban agriculture movement is expected to encourage the people of the city is concerned about climate change and contribute to a simple and concrete to save the earth.

The spread of education and training about urban agriculture begins with training on the trainer. Participants involved must be committed to implement urban agriculture and spread it to others in the neighborhood.

With urban agriculture training is expected to be expanded to other areas, so that the benefits can be felt even more. We want to engage the community as much as possible to start with small steps to get a big change.

On a day of education and training that is done, they are taught agricultural models of the city, of which utilize idle lands and critical areas, green open space, vacant land and home gardens, schools and places of worship, to be planted with vegetables, fruits, and herbs.

Participants who would later be the coach about urban agriculture in their respective environments are also taught the theory of cultivation of vegetables in the garden and vegetable pest control in a way that is environmentally friendly. Participants were asked to recognize the growing media company, superior seeds, seeding, to care.

With the training of urban agriculture trainers, can be a point of growing urban agricultural activities in many places. We hope this activity can quickly spread to other places.

Urban agriculture movement, the term for planting crops in urban areas, implicated in various parts of the world. There is no land, no excuse for not farming. Urban agriculture movement has proved it.

In the United States, Hillary Clinton, then first lady, juggling one of the White House yard into a vegetable garden. He is also actively encouraging people to love farming. Hillary generously shared gardening and urban agriculture with a book he wrote, American Grown. Americans actually somewhat behind in this respect, because urban agriculture was first developed in several major cities in Japan, Germany, and later China.

If we look a little to the U.S., they bring urban agriculture lessons to the class, that means agriculture in developed countries like the U.S. is still considered important. In 2050, the UN predicts that global population will surpass 9 billion people. Given current levels of agricultural productivity, the extent of agricultural land that half of the Americans needed to feed a larger population. This is certainly the record, there was no change in the incidence of extreme weather and droughts that will make everything worse.

Urban agriculture has the potential to solve these problems. The term was coined in 1915 by the United States geologist, Gilbert Ellis Bailey. Architects and scientists have repeatedly seen this idea since then, especially towards the end of the 20th century. In 1999, Dickson Despommier, a professor of environmental science, health, and microbiology at Columbia University to seriously develop urban agriculture science with his students.

How about your country? You should be proud of your country, because it still bears the name as an agricultural country, as well as school students still want to go to the villages and learning in nature, studying agriculture, learn about the forest and so on.

In some places in the country you are providing education facilities in the open, and this has become a trend and even a demand from the education, the reasons, most students studying in class bored, or sensation for certain schools to get out of the habits formal. Whatever the reason it is still useful, as most of the schools that use this technique are the schools in the big cities, it is expected that students can be more creative and get more insight, also born nature of mutual respect among fellow human beings.

Even more great again there that provide a means of urban agricultural education for free. In this place will teach agricultural technologies from the conventional / traditional to modern farming techniques.

"Here we do not create the carcass, here we are human beings made in which the anti ask but love to give." That quote from the discussion of the existing educational facilities. Understanding these quotations explained that in this place are not trained to be useless, how in this place of no use to be very useful, also graduated from here will pass on the nature of love to give and not mentally begging.

Quite unique indeed and whatever form and manner of urban agricultural education was important not harm anyone and the results are certainly positive. and many other places that provide the means of education that pay her expensive, cheap to free anything, it indicates that in developing countries is still much to be concerned agriculture, live how we deal with the government and give it to their appreciation. Because it is not possible even likely already running urban agriculture at the individual student, as students gain knowledge and insight of the school of agriculture in the wild or Outbound term trend based education.
